První turnaj v roce 2025 se bude konat v neděli 23.2. v tenisové hale základní školy Jasanová v Brně. První edice Lions Brno Open bude hostit kategorie dvouhry i čtyřhry, turnaj je otevřený všem nadšencům pickleballu.

Formát turnaje:

Bude se hrát skupina (Round Robin), ze které postupují první 4 dvojice (hráči) do eliminace. Ve skupině hraje každý s každým, pořadí týmů (hráčů ve dvouhře) se určí dle počtu vyhraných zápasů. V případě shody rozhodne rozdíl uhraných bodů.

Hraje se na 1 vítězný set do 11 bodů (s rozdílem 2 bodů), finále se hraje do 15 bodů. Pokud se hráč/hráči nedostaví k zápasu nejpozději 5 minut po vyhlášení, zápas bude skrečován ve prospěch soupeře v poměru 0/11 (0/15). 

V kategorii "junior singles" se při počtu 8 hráčů hraje o raketu (aktuálně přihlášení 4 hráči).

*Pořadatel si vyhrazuje právo na případné změny v turnaji.

The first tournament in 2025 will take place on Sunday February 23rd in the tennis hall of the Jasanová Elementary School in Brno. The first 2025 edition of the Lions Brno Open will host singles and doubles categories, tournament is open to all pickleball enthusiasts.

Registration from 9:30 to 9:50, start of tournament from 10:00.

Tournament format: 

A group (Round Robin) will be played, from which the first 4 pairs (players) advance to elimination. In the group, everyone plays to everyone, order of the teams (players in singles) is determined by the number of matches won. In the event of a tie, the difference in points won will decide. 

Match is played for 1 winning set up to 11 points (with a win by 2 points), semifinals and finals is played up to 15 points. If the player(s) do not show up for the match no later than 5 minutes after the announcement, the match will be retired in favour of the opponent with the score 0/11 (0/15).

Category "juniors singles" will play for a paddle if there will be 8 players (now registered 4).
